I had a dream where I was in a British celebration of sorts where I was a person participating in it. It was a regular event, and I was waiting for it to be over. I heard trumpets playing and other things being played, and I and others were waiting for one person that was really late. Others people near me were joking around that the guy being late was going to get really in trouble by the queen, and we saw him arriving panicked-30 minutes late. The dream transitioned to me and my family being in a hotel days before the event. We were about to enter our room, it is near a sea-but it was being flooded with heavy water. I was afraid that it would burst through the wave, but someone assured me it is almost going to be fine and the windows are completely safe, and we slept through it.
This dream reflects feelings of anticipation and anxiety. The British celebration symbolizes significant events or milestones in your life, where you feel the pressure of expectations or societal norms. The late arrival of the person, combined with the joking about the queen's potential disapproval, may indicate your concerns about meeting expectations and the fear of judgment from authority figures.
The transition to the hotel scenario with flooding represents emotional turmoil or challenges you feel in your family life. The flood may symbolize overwhelming feelings or situations, while the assurance about the safety of the windows suggests a need to trust in stability despite fears. The dream encourages you to acknowledge your anxieties but also to find comfort in the support systems around you.
